Limited Lifetime Warranty

For custom laminate cabinets

1. Warranty Coverage

ABCabinet warrants to the original purchaser that its custom laminate cabinetry products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.


This Limited Lifetime Warranty applies only to cabinets installed in residential applications and remains valid for as long as the original purchaser owns and resides in the home where the cabinets were originally installed.


This warranty applies only to products manufactured or supplied by ABCabinet.


2. Covered Components

This warranty applies to the following cabinet components manufactured by ABCabinet:


- Cabinet boxes and structural components

- Laminate cabinet surfaces

- Edge banding

- Cabinet doors and drawer fronts

- Interior shelving

- Hinges and drawer slides supplied with the cabinets

- Standard cabinet hardware included with the product


All hardware components are covered for defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use.


3. What ABCabinet Will Do

If a defect in materials or workmanship is confirmed during the warranty period under normal residential use, ABCabinet will, at its sole discretion:


- Repair the defective component, or

- Replace the defective component with the same or a comparable product.


Replacement products may vary slightly in color, grain pattern, or finish due to natural material characteristics or manufacturing variations.


If the original product or finish is discontinued, ABCabinet reserves the right to provide a comparable product of equal function and value.


4. Natural Characteristics

Wood products, laminates, and cabinet materials may exhibit natural variations in color, grain pattern, texture, or finish. These variations are normal and are not considered defects.


Changes in color over time due to exposure to light and environmental conditions are also considered natural and are not covered under this warranty.


5. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damages or conditions resulting from:


- Improper installation

- Installation performed by unqualified installers

- Modifications, alterations, or repairs performed after installation

- Misuse, abuse, or negligence

- Improper cleaning or use of harsh chemicals

- Excessive moisture, humidity, or water exposure

- Steam exposure from appliances without proper ventilation

- Exposure to extreme temperatures

- Normal wear and tear including scratches, dents, and minor surface damage

- Impact damage or structural damage caused by external forces


6. Non-Residential Use

This warranty applies only to residential applications.


Cabinets installed in the following environments are not covered:


- Commercial properties

- Rental properties

- Multi-family developments intended for rental occupancy

- Institutional or public facilities


7. Labor and Service

This warranty covers replacement of defective components only.


The following costs are not covered:


- Labor costs

- Installation or reinstallation

- Removal of existing cabinets

- Shipping or transportation costs

- Service or contractor fees


ABCabinet is not responsible for costs associated with access, removal, or reinstallation of cabinetry.


8. Limitation of Liability

ABCabinet’s liability under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of defective components.


ABCabinet shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.


Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply in certain jurisdictions.


9. Warranty Transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.


The warranty becomes void if the property is sold or transferred.


10. Care and Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance are required to maintain warranty coverage.


Recommended care guidelines include:


- Clean cabinet surfaces using a soft cloth and mild soap

- Avoid abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents

- Immediately wipe off standing water or moisture

- Avoid prolonged exposure to steam or excessive humidity

- Use proper ventilation around appliances


Failure to follow proper care guidelines may void warranty coverage.


11. Installation Warranty

ABCabinet warrants that installation services performed by ABCabinet or its authorized installers will be free from defects in workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation.

This installation warranty applies only to installations performed directly by ABCabinet or by installers authorized by ABCabinet.


What Is Covered

If a problem occurs due to installation workmanship within the warranty period, ABCabinet will repair the issue at no cost for the labor required to correct the installation defect.

Examples of covered installation issues include:

  • Cabinets not properly secured to wall studs

  • Cabinet alignment or leveling issues caused by installation

  • Improper door or drawer adjustments

  • Loose cabinet mounting due to installation error

  • Hardware installed incorrectly during installation

ABCabinet will make reasonable efforts to correct the issue and restore the cabinets to proper working condition.


What Is Not Covered

This installation warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by structural issues of the home (uneven floors, wall framing issues, etc.)

  • Cabinet movement caused by house settling

  • Adjustments required due to normal use after installation

  • Damage caused by plumbing, electrical, or other trades

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper care

  • Modifications or repairs performed by third parties

  • Damage occurring after installation caused by water leaks or environmental conditions


Service Conditions

Warranty service must be performed during normal business hours.

ABCabinet reserves the right to inspect the installation before performing warranty service.

If the issue is determined not to be related to installation workmanship, service charges may apply.


Installer Responsibility

Installation must be completed in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.

Any installation or modification performed by third-party installers not authorized by ABCabinet will void the installation warranty.


12. Filing a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, the original purchaser must contact ABCabinet and provide the following information:


- Proof of original purchase

- Photographs clearly showing the issue

- A written description of the defect

- Installation date

- Property address where the cabinets were installed


ABCabinet will review all claims and determine the appropriate resolution.
